For this project, I used a Picasso's painting "Woman in an Armchair." 

I recreated a lively, colorful picture using a monochromatic scale. I brought character and texture into the illustration to exude the same emotions as Picasso's painting. I created this illustration by using Adobe Illustrator. I used a combination of lines, stippling brush techniques, and shading. Through using different depths, thicknesses and opacity levels, I was able to recreate one of Picasso's paintings.
